Conference Overview

Clinical judgement is not new to nursing education, it’s about being intentional when we reinforce this skill with our students. This is imperative as our generalist nurses are taking care of sicker patients than 20 years ago. Focusing our teaching on the process of thinking through nursing situations as well as the decision-making involved, will increase the competence of new nurses in making better, more insightful and safe decisions. This conference will focus on strategies to enhance classroom teaching effectiveness.
